What to expect?
Service design has landed firmly to the profit-making sector. But how can service design be applied to the non-profit sector? How can service design contribute to creating common good by service designing with non-profits? These extended lectures will provide a peak into service designing for change in Finland, the land of about 100 000 registered non-profits.
Who is this course for?
What are the takeaways from this training?
You will learn how service design can be used beyond profit making, for advancing the common good.
This course is divided into three extended lectures. The overall topic "Service Design for Social Wellbeing" will be the baseline for all three of them. Overall, you will learn more about how service design can be used to make the invisible visible. By that Milla means that we can use service design to make invisible people seen and heard and through doing that we make invisible problems visible. And by that, we can use service design to co-create new solutions for social wellbeing.
