SDN Academy to offer free online lectures and mini-courses

Updated: Apr 1, 2020

The coronavirus crisis presents a new challenge for service designers around the world - just as it has for people from all walks of life. The SDN is already evaluating its impacts on our organization, and looking at ways we can bring service designers together and support them during this difficult time, using the power of our network.

In the face of this challenge, we think it's important to offer new ways to educate and inform one another, and to make use of our incredible community. Therefore, we're pleased to announce that the SDN Academy will be holding a series of free lectures and mini-courses, in the upcoming weeks.

We're currently reaching out to our network of accredited trainers and master trainers, and looking to invite selected other speakers and trainers to participate.

At launch, we have four mini-courses and lectures that are open for registration: "Service Design for the Circular Economy" (by Jesse Grimes), "Major Tom to Ground Control: Cognitive Biases in Service Design Projects" (by Tina Weisser and Eike Wagner), a Russian-language course "Client Ecosystems During Global Change" (by Olga Strelnyk) and "Intro to Lean-Agile Service Design" (by Kateryna Zaiko and Andriy Romanukha). Several other exciting courses from other experts in the field are being finalized and will be announced in the coming days.
