Designing and deploying an innovative service design solution can sometimes be a time consuming and expensive offering.  CEOs, CFOs and other Business Leaders are often left wondering if it was really worth their time and monetary investment.  While some leaders ask to see what is the value derived from the new proposed solution, some expect to see it.  This program helps Service Designers ensure that their projects or innovative solutions will deliver desired results by applying design-thinking principles.  Participants will learn practical tools which help showcase the value of a service design initiative.

To many, it may seem that calculating the ROI of a service design project is an impossible task. That’s where the ROI Methodology® comes in. The ROI Methodology provides a proven framework that when implemented provide the project or initiatives outcomes data at 5 Levels plus intangibles.  The information available at each of these levels provides valuable information on the change and impact the project or program has made.

The impact can be shown as to how the solution help the organisation make or save money or result in intangibles benefits (increased customer satisfaction, better work life balance, etc.).

The ROI Methodology provides 12 easy steps and 12 key guiding principles which when followed showcase results which can’t be challenged.  When the conservative standards of the ROI Methodology are followed, information can be presented in a very compelling way.  Learning this technique can help you make a great argument for securing the funds, even in difficult and uncertain times. The outcome is to have Business Leaders see the design team as an indispensable resource.
