Announcing our 'Foundations' course! New cohort starts September 2026

The SDN Academy is pleased to announce a new cohort of our fully-refreshed 'Service Design Foundations' course, which was previously known as our 'Practitioner Curriculum'.
The Foundations course is designed for those looking to:
Start a career in service design,
Transition into service design from related roles, or
Add the mindset and methodologies of service design to their existing role
Our six-module course runs over the course of 11 weeks, and delivers an in-depth introduction to service design. Successful completion delivers Practitioner Accreditation from the SDN Academy.
What's new?
We've refreshed the course from top to bottom. While our approach remains the same - an engaging mix of theory-based learning, supported by hands-on practice - we've added new elements to reflect the current evolution of the service design as it's practiced today:
